A special day

Today was a special day at the Kigoma Orphanage Centre and for all of us at the Shayo Foundation: to the conclusion of Ramadan, we celebrated Eid el Fitr with many welcome guests.
We received a visit from representatives of JAI – Jamiiyaatul Akhlaaqul Islaam, an important Islamic foundation that takes care of the vulnerable.
With generosity, they bought food and drinks for our children and we were able to talk to them about our needs and the requirements for managing our centre.
With interest, they were able to visit our structure and understand our urgent needs to assist and care for our young guests.
We are grateful for this visit and, before saying goodbye, they promised to visit us in the future.
